The Guerrero Recognition Award honors students who demonstrate outstanding attendance, academic effort, and a commitment to their education.

Named in honor of the Guerrero family, this recognition reflects the belief that hard work, perseverance, and a love of learning deserve to be celebrated. Through this initiative, students receive both recognition and a financial award to encourage them to continue pursuing their educational goals.

The award is presented in partnership with local educators, who identify students whose dedication serves as an example for their peers.

  • Students must complete a short application during the application period.

    Applicants will be asked to submit:

    • Basic personal information

    • Their most recent report card or academic record

    • Attendance information

    • A short statement about their educational goals

    All applications and supporting documents will be reviewed and verified with local school contacts before recipients are selected.

    • Cash award

    • Certificate of recognition

    • A demonstrated commitment to attending school regularly.
